Series two of Scran is now airing fortnightly and this week, listeners are invited to take a stroll in some ancient woodlands in Perthshire as I chat to founders of Birken Tree, Rob and Gabrielle about how and why they harvest Birch water and the health benefits provided by it.
I also speak to restaurant critic for the Scotland on Sunday newspaper, Cat Thomson about foraging finds, menus and what she's cooking now we are all at home.
It's worth noting that the main interview with Rob and Gabrielle was done before government lockdown rules came into place, and that from now on, interviews will be done from home over the phone.
We’d love to hear from you in next week’s episode.
