This week's Scran takes a trip to Fife to find out more about Steven Mitchell's Buffalo farm, which featured on BBC's This Farming Life.
On episode five, host and Scotsman food and drink writer Rosalind Erskine chats to Steven about the farm, setting up the Bothy at Boglily and how and why he decided to farm a herd of buffalo rather than more traditional livestock.
Steven also talks about how he successfully crowd-funded his venture to set up a diary to produce Scotland's first buffalo mozzarella, and he discusses the challenges of farming buffalo.
Plus we get to meet the herd, including the main man - Heineken the bull.
