Arnprior was the first Scottish farm to open a pick your own pumpkin patch in 2015, and has since grown to offer a late night date night, and a spring time lambing experience as well as their newly completed glamping pods and swimming pool.

Keen to offer visitors the chance to sample a slice of rural life on a working farm, owners Rebecca and Duncan McEwen are set to open the doors to the glamping pods from 11 October, the same day as the pumpkin patch opens.

The glamping site is home to four luxury pods, which have their own hot tubs and  sleep up to five people.

Painted in bright colours, each pod has been stylishly decorated to complement its external colour scheme, and includes two small double beds, a single bed/sofa, dining table and benches, smart TV, DVD player and WiFi.

There's also plates, cutlery, a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave - so visitors can enjoy all the luxuries of a self-catering destination.

Each pod has its own private shower and toilet, located within 20 metre walk. And it's easy to tell which one belongs to which pods as even the bathrooms fit in with the pods' distinct colours.

As well as the hot tubs, visitors can enjoy a dip in the 10m indoor swimming pool, which is heated to 32 degrees. There's changing facilities and underfloor heating, and the pool can be hired by the hour for up to 10 people - ideal for pool parties and swimming lessons.

The pool also features a counter current, which transforms the still water into a streaming river, which is great for training, keeping fit and sports therapy.

A wood-chip biomass boiler sustainably heats the pool, which is filled with fresh spring water bored from the  farm.

The glamping site also includes a pretty, fairy lit party pod, which can be booked for meetings and parties with a difference.
