Juniper Festival, which takes place this weekend, has announced its final list of exhibitors, seminars, and interactive experiences for this year’s edition.
The team behind the festival has promised that this year’s edition is going to be the most interactive to date with 23 exhibitors present at Summerhall, four seminars hosted by industry experts, and five interactive experiences including the brand new “The Sound of Gin” which pairs music and drinks.
It takes place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 June at Summerhall in Edinburgh.
The Drinks Lab team has selected the best gin distilleries and spirit brands from across the UK to exhibit and visitors will have the chance to try new and exciting drinks and chat with producers.

Buck & Birch, 1881 Distillery, Edinburgh Gin, Farmhouse Gin, Foghouse Gin, Isle of Cumbrae, Little Brown Dog, Lunun Gin, Lussa Gin, North Point Distillery, Pixel Spirits, Purist Gin, Shoogle Gin, The Inventor's Co. Gin, Crossbill Gin, Ginepraio Gin, Isle of Harris Gin, Rock Rose, Seven Crofts, South Loch Gin, Spirit O'Clyde, Stirling Gin, and Valentian Vermouth.
James Sutherland, Owner of 56 North and South Loch Gin, said: “I’m really looking forward to being back at the festival and seeing all the amazing guests who attend and have so much fun.
"We will be there representing 56 North as we have been every year, but most importantly we are now also South Loch Gin so letting guests try our award-winning Gins for the first time at Juniper Festival is every exciting.”
Some of these brands will also be holding seminars and masterclass over the weekend where guests will be able to learn some of the secrets behind their favourite spirit from the distillers themselves.
Each session will last 30 minutes, and guests will receive a welcome drink and samples throughout.

Summerhall Drinks Lab are bringing some of their award-winning interactive tasting sessions to this year’s experience, allowing the visitors to have a taste of the events the passionate team is hosting at Summerhall throughout the year.
Guests will be able to create their own canned mixer using a variety of ingredients provided.
They will be guided through different flavours and combinations before choosing their recipe, mixing it up, and using a canning machine to create their own bespoke mixer with a custom-made label.
Interactive boozy experiments from Drinks Lab’s sold-out Edinburgh Fringe show, 15-minute sessions exploring a subject such as if the colour of a drink impacts its flavour.
15-minute sessions where guests will get to shake up their own cocktail using one of the exhibitor’s products and their choice of flavours.
They will be provided with test tubes containing ingredients to use and given a choice of flavoured syrups to create their custom version of the drink.
Discover how different foods can impact or complement the flavour of the exhibitor’s spirits.
There will be both savoury and sweet pairing options with products from incredible local brands such as Considerit Doughnuts & Coco Chocolate.

Tickets include access to the festival, a welcome drink on arrival, and free samples from all exhibiting brands.
For anyone wanting to experience the additional interactive activities at this year’s festival, wristbands can be purchased for a discounted fee if bought in advance or for full price on the day.
Created in 2014 by Solid Liquids, the Juniper Festival is Scotland’s original Gin Festival.
Held every year at Summerhall by the team behind Summerhall Drinks Lab, the Juniper Festival has already welcomed over 6000 visitors and showcased more than 180 producers through the years.
Juniper Festival was a winner of the Scottish Gin Awards Gin Event of the Year in 2017, and finalist in 2019.
Summerhall Drinks Lab sponsored the Excellent in Sustainability award at the 2021 Scottish Gin Awards.
