Gleneagles Glorious Garden Party to return this summer

This summer, the Glorious Garden Party is back at Gleneagles, Perthshire.

After a two year break due to the pandemic, the Gleneagles Glorious Garden Party will welcome guests with champagne, cocktails, live music and tennis matches.

Taking place on Saturday 18 June starts with a welcome drink on the lawn, followed by afternoon tea in the Strathearn.

Guests can then watch a tennis match in the grounds while (hopefully) enjoying the sunshine.

Judy Murray will be tennis umpire for the day, watching some tennis greats play in a Gleneagles-first mixed doubles exhibition match.

This year, Martina Hingis, Laura Robson, Mark Philippoussis and Xavier Malisse will rally up the party spirit in what is sure to be a very entertaining match.

Tickets are priced at £225 per person. To book, visit the Gleneagles website.

Known for cake making, experimental jam recipes, Champagne, whisky and gin drinking (and the inability to cook Gnocchi), Rosalind is the Food and Drink Editor and whisky writer for The Scotsman, as well as hosting Scran, The Scotsman's food and drink podcast.
