With this in mind we've compiled a list of some hospitality jobs available to apply for now.

From a restaurant manager in a Michelin Star eatery to waiting staff in a new vegan cafe, there's something for all experiences.

Restaurant manager, The Cellar, Fife

One of Fife's Michelin Star restaurants is hiring a restaurant manager. Owner and chef, Billy Boyter posted about the role, which closes at the end of January.

The job has a competitive salary and five weeks off per year.

The restaurant will move to a four day working week from this year. Speaking at the time of the announcement Boyter said: "There's alot of negativity around hospitality and especially towards Michelin Star restaurants and the working conditions and hours.

"I want to put a different spin on that and show that you can work in these places without working the hours that people think you do in order to cook good food."

Kitchen porter, The Bay fish and chips, Stonehaven

This award-winning, sustainable chippy in Stonehaven are hiring a Kitchen Porter.

Duties include: helping keep back of house clean and tidy, help with prep lists and supplies, and moving into helping with click and collect area.

Includes working evenings and weekends and the salary is £6.80 16-17 years, £9.50 18+

Opening date announced for new restaurant from top TV chef in luxury Scottish castle

Waiting staff, Plant Blonde, Glasgow

This new vegan bakery and cafe is set to open in Glasgow's west end soon and is looking for a range of staff.

The owners recently shared the jobs on social media, writing: "We are looking for positive loving kind humans to join the team, we are searching for: experienced barista who can whip up the best coffees about, creative chef, another lovely baker and friendly waiter/waitress.

Restaurant manager and bar manager, Inver, Cairndow

This award winning restaurant with rooms is hiring two positions this month.

Posting about the jobs, the owners wrote: "The restaurant manager is one of only two positions still to fill to complete our stellar team for 2022.

Renowned chef who worked at 'home of golf' to take up new role at Murrayfield rugby stadium

"You’ll come to us with experience selecting and pouring great wine (knowledge of low intervention growing and production is helpful); managing and motivating a small diverse group of people; and of course serving great food with grace and style in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

"Organisation and forward planning are key skills. We’re a compassionate, creative, supportive crew who want you to live your best life in beautiful surroundings with a rewarding job.

"The pay is generous and comes with excellent tips and a low cost of living; £28-32k pro rata base rate with £3k-£5k tips on top."

The closing date is Monday 17 January for a mid-March start date.

This part time position at a popular west end cafe and bakery is available to apply for now.
