The chef explained that Axel's football team Hibs had asked him and his son Axel to come up with a healthy dish that people can cook at home.

The result is an adorable clip with Axel introducing Tom and the pair preparing the ingredients together for the Roasted Cod with Chickpea, Feta and Red Onion Salad.

Using ingredients sourced from the supermarket and the local fishmonger, Tom and Axel show how to make this exciting dish.

The Michelin-starred chef stated that much like families across the country they are coming to terms with the circumstances we are all facing, adding that at least something good can come of it as it will give him lots more time to "cook with his boys" Kasper, Axel, and twins Lachlan and Logan.

In the video, Tom proudly watches on gives instructions as Axel prepares the cod. The pair then chat about Axel's football team.

Featuring tips on everything from seasoning and presentation to safety and properly cooking fish, Tom jokes that son Axel will be tested on everything he's being taught.

Asking people to send in pics of their efforts so he can share them on his Instagram account, Tom also gave a shout out to his chefs explaining how to follow them and where people can find some of their recipes for cooking at home.
