Nur-Taj Indian Restaurant

Residents in Aberdeen seem to be keen fans of Indian cuisine, and sitting proudly at the top of the list is Nur-Taj, which styles itself as one of the best places to get a truly authentic curry.

And it seems TripAdvisor agrees, topping the moderately priced category, users gushed over its "well priced, delicious food" and over 99 per cent of its 102 reviews were very good or above.

Neil M posted: "Exceptional service and some of the best Indian food we’ve ever eaten! Generous portions, spiced to perfection. 5 stars all the way!!"

Bonobo Cafe

Billing itself as the first 100 per cent vegan workers’ co-operative in the city, Bonobo's vegan breakfasts and brunches have made a big impression on Aberdeen's food lovers.

The 0nceler was a huge fan of the plant-based food offering: "Came here a little while ago and had the most amazing 'fry-up'! Everything in the vegan breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the beans and the tofu eggs.

"The staff are wonderful people, I didn't catch their names but they all deserve recognition for the great work they do."

Wild Ginger Restaurant

The second of our Indian cuisine specialists, Wild Ginger ranked highly for being a "beautiful modern Indian restaurant" offering "delicious food at reasonable prices".

With over 400 'excellent' reviews, WG is praised for its menu which features loads of vegetarian options and plenty of classics.

Kamoon Kitchen

Described as a "Local Lebanese Kitchen", Kamoon does a roaring trade in middle Eastern cuisine.

Despite a few negative reviews for its take-away service, people are overwhelmingly positive about what most users described as a "hidden gem" and "a surprise find".
