Edinbane Lodge, a multi-award-winning restaurant with rooms on the Isle of Skye, has been recognised for the third consecutive year in the La Liste’s Top 1000 Restaurants 2026.
Founded by chef-patron Calum Montgomery in 2018, Edinbane Lodge has gone from strength to strength year on year, and is the only restaurant in the Highlands and Islands to hold the prestigious 4 AA Rosette.
La Liste 2026 places Edinbane Lodge 25th amongst the UK’s most prestigious restaurants, and amongst the top two in Scotland to make the Top 1000 list.
Calum Montgomery said of the listing: “I’m thrilled that Edinbane Lodge has made La Liste’s Top 1000 Restaurants for the third year running.
“Being placed amongst the best restaurants in the world, and #2 in Scotland makes me so proud, and I’m so grateful to the entire team at Edinbane Lodge for what we’ve achieved this year. I really couldn’t do it all without them by my side.”

Edinbane Lodge’s ‘A Taste of Skye’ tasting menu celebrates the island’s natural larder, together with an appreciation of culinary traditions and heritage.
Calum, who was born and raised on the Isle of Skye, sources produce from a community of family and friends, who share the same values and commitment to the produce and make the most of the island’s crofts, seas, and artisan production.
The seasonally changing menu evokes a true taste of Skye and takes you on a memorable culinary adventure of the flavours, textures, and colours of the ingredients that grow in abundance on the isle.
La Liste inclusion follows exciting accolades for Calum and Edinbane Lodge including four AA Rosettes, ‘Exceptional’ rating in the Good Food Guide, awarded the ‘Best Dining Experience’ in the VisitScotland Scottish Thistle Awards, ‘Best Fine Dining Experience’ at The Scotsman Scran Awards and ‘Chef of the Year’ at the 2025 Scottish Excellence Awards.
Other top Scottish restaurants that made La Liste included Glenturret Lalique, Inver, Cail Bruich and Number One at The Balmoral.
