A restaurant on Skye has been named in La Liste, a company that charts the best restaurants around the globe.
Edinbane Lodge on Skye, which was named Restaurant of the Year at the Scottish Excellence Awards this year and also scooped 4 AA Rosettes, has made it on to La Liste.
Chef patron Calum Montgomery posted about the accolade, writing: "Wow. Mind blown. Casually scrolling through @laliste1000 WORLDWIDE Restaurant Guide and find @EdinbaneLodgenot only listed in the top1000, but mid table!
"A score of 86 placing us in Scotland’s Top 3 So proud of our entire team. Ridiculous."
Earlier this year, Calum joined us on our podcast Scran, where he spoke about his career so far, opening Edinbane and what winning awards means for him and his team.
Calum was named Scottish Chef of the Year at this year's Scran awards.
La Liste is a global list of the best restaurants and is made up based on the compilation of thousands of publications, hundreds of guidebooks, and millions of online reviews to give users an overview of the world's best restaurants and hotels.
It's available as an app, and as of 2023, there are 68 UK restaurants ranked.
Some Scottish entries include: Cail Bruich, Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, The Glenturret Lalique, Martin Wishart, The Peat Inn, Inver, and Number One at Balmoral.
