As the days get shorter and the temperature drops, there’s nothing nicer than visiting a cosy cafe, and one in Perthshire is an ideal place to get cosy this autumn and winter.
The 3 Witches tearoom in Burrelton near Blairgowrie is a stop you might want to make on Halloween but it’s a popular spot no matter the time of the year.
Located at East Redstone Farm on the A94 Coupar Angus to Perth road, the 3 Witches tearoom serves breakfast, brunch, lunches, afternoon tea and takeaway coffee but it’s the home-baking that customers love as well as the generous portions. It’s also dog-friendly.
Named as a nod to the witches in Shakespeare’s Macbeth and the historical site of Dunsinane Hill, which is nearby.

Items on the breakfast menu include: The Big Witches Breakfast, Witches Waffle, filled breakfast rolls, granola and French toast. While for lunch, customers can tuck in to soup of the day, sandwiches, wraps and toasties.
Those with a sweet tooth, there’s ice cream sundaes, fresh fruit pavolvas, cheesecakes, freshly made scones and strawberry tarts, which are among the seasonal homebaking.
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also available as well as a range of soft drinks.
The tearoom is also home to a small gift shop, which sells products like candles, mugs, soft toys, ceramics and local crafts.
Booking ahead is advised as the 3 Witches is popular and gets busy especially at lunchtimes. Find out more via their social media.
