Served on bespoke designed iron afternoon tea stands crafted especially for SUSHISAMBA Edinburgh by a local ironmonger, all elements of the summer afternoon tea are unique to the restaurant, from presentation to innovative flavour combinations.

Guests can enjoy the experience in the comfort of the restaurant or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the city skyline including Edinburgh Castle and Calton Hill.

The afternoon tea begins with an array of savoury delights, including signature A5 Wagyu tartar (cachaça, chipotle mayo, garlic miso, shiso, arenkha cavia), octopus and chorizo anticucho (think aji panca and chives) and the best-selling Samba Edinburgh roll (with whisky-cured salmon, avocado, oshinko, whisky orange gel).

The sweet treats include a black cherry choux; strawberry and lime cheesecake and a coconut onigiri.

The afternoon tea also includes a menu of Laurent-Perrier Champagne, a selection of fine teas (including vibrant hand-whisked matcha), and honey and Tahitian vanilla scones served with fruity peach, apricot jam and clotted cream. There is also a full vegetarian menu available on request.
