A popular restaurateur is set to open her second restaurant in St Andrews - a healthy breakfast, brunch and lunch spot named NEXT DOOR.

The 35-cover eatery by restaurateur Julie Lewis, will be located on South Street in a unit which sits next door to The Adamson, her other award-winning restaurant and cocktail bar.

The casual restaurant will offer an all-day menu, serving fresh food that’s “as nutritious as it is Instagrammable”.

Aimed at those pursuing a healthy lifestyle, NEXT DOOR’s creative menu will offer diners plenty of plant-powered alternatives.

Creating 10 new jobs for the area, NEXT DOOR will be open from Friday 8th March 2019 from 8am to 6pm, Monday through Sunday.

Julie Lewis said: “I’ve always wanted to open another restaurant in St Andrews, and have been looking for a location for the last 5 years, so I jumped at the chance to snap up the former BURGER site next door to The Adamson.

“NEXT DOOR will aim to attract hungry Millennials and tap into the growing trend of rolling out of bed and heading straight out for breakfast and brunch. The ‘go-healthy’ restaurant will also feature a bar area serving a range of green and herbal teas, as well as coffee and stronger options.”
