The group behind the page say it was created to help managers "get the right people through the doors" without having to work with promoters or PR.
Beginning this month, those looking to use the page to dine alone or with friends for free simply need to follow the @modelrestaurant page on Instagram then send a direct message with their location details.
The Model Restaurant team say they will then matches the applicants with suitable restaurants in their area, reserving for them a table and ensuring the meal is complimentary.
The only requirement is that the models and 'influencers' then share pictures of the food and venue on Instagram while they’re dining.
The group behind the page say the models will then be able to boost their social media following while helping restaurants to boost their image.
The brainchild of leading investor and restaurateur Giovanbattista Cimmino, he said: “Reputation and image is really important in the restaurant industry, and models are always great new places to be seen.
"This new initiative is a win/win for both restaurateurs and models, but getting beautiful faces in the right venues and providing models with free meals.”
