Priding itself on its hand-dived scallops and sustainable seafood, The Ethical Shellfish Company has launched a new website to showcase its fresh, ethical offerings available for delivery to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Ethical Shellfish Company, based on the Isle of Mull, have announced that their produce will be available to order via their new website.

Building on its delivery output which began back in May, Ethical Shellfish Company now hosts their affordable and sustainably-sourced seafood online.

In addition to their delicious hand dived king scallops, oysters and langoustines, food from a range of other local producers is also available for delivery.

Gigha Smoked Halibut is one of the items on offer, presenting halibut harvested by the Barge family on Gigha using more ethical, alternative methods to those commonly used in fish farming.

While delivery through the website is only currently available for Edinburgh and Glasgow, the company hopes to be able to deliver nationwide by November.

Founder Guy Grieve told The Scotman that he’s delighted to be offering his company’s sustainably sourced seafood online.

“It’s sort of Ethical Shellfish Company and friends” he says, “it’s about other artisan producers who have also found themselves in a hell of a situation.”

The new website also gives customers the chance to learn more about Ethical Shellfish Company’s background and offers a range of recipes, letting customers try their hand at recreating dishes featuring their tasty dive-caught scallops.

The Ethical Shellfish Company are also offering 10 per cent off your order when you sign up for their newsletter.
