Taking place on Sunday 1st December, tickets will cost £10 (for owner and pet) and the event aims to get dogs and their owners into the festive spirit and will see bacon or egg rolls served up with teas and coffees from 10am-11:30am, as well as tantalising treats and a special present for each of the dogs that attend.
The dog-loving establishment will also have a special dog-themed calendar for 2020 on sale with all proceeds going to the EDCH. Featuring many of the Mercat Grill’s regular canine clients, the pictures were taken by local professional photographer and videographer, Calum Duff of Front Edge Media at the venue’s recent charity, Doggy Coffee Morning.
Graham Blaikie, owner of the Mercat Grill said: “This is now a regular festive fixture and promises to be a fun event, for dog owners and their canines, in the run up to Christmas.
"It’s a great opportunity to get together with other, Fido loving folks, make new friends or come along with the family to our fun and festive event which will also raise money for EDCH, a great charity that helps dogs and cats in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. We think our new canine calendar will also go down a treat with our dog owning customers.”
