Sink the Pink and Wildcat gin will be collaborating to host the new online quiz titled ‘Sink The Pink presents The BIG Pub Quiz’, which is a throwback to a purpose built pub, The Queens Head, which reigned supreme in the basement of Selfridges in London in 2017.

As the lockdown is set to continue, Sink The Pink have decided now is the perfect time to open its pub doors once again (albeit virtually), bringing back everyone’s favourite landlady, Ginger Johnson, to host an interactive alternative pub quiz - in collaboration with Wildcat Gin.

The big pub quiz

Ginger will be landing into living rooms at #WildcatOClock: 7.30pm on Thursdays (starting on 16 April)  live on Sink The Pink's Instagram (then shared on Facebook) with a quiz like no other.

The team say that it is "guaranteed to bring audiences together for cocktails, queens and laughs-a-plenty. Weird and wonderful quiz themes that promise to be camp, silly and downright fun."

To be in with a chance of winning the lockdown prizes - loo roll and a bottle of Wildcat Gin - quiz-goers will need to get creative for the final ‘Wildcat Round’, details of which will only be revealed on the night.

Glyn Fussell, co-founder of Sink The Pink & East Creative said: 'We've had to rip up the rule book to ensure we can still reach our amazing community away from the dance floor, especially those that are feeling a little isolated right now, to have some much needed fun!

"There's no one better to bring our queer and wonderful world of Sink The Pink to life online, than our resident queen of stage and screen, Ginger Johnson. We're proud to continue to work with Wildcat Gin, who have stuck by us and supported us and our amazing community in these challenging times.”

Kenny Nicholson, head of modern spirits at Whyte & Mackay, said: “We’re so proud to be working with the brilliant team at Sink The Pink again, kicking off the year with vibrant and unforgettable experiences to help audiences bust lockdown boredom.

“Wildcat Gin is made for mixing, and since we can’t do that in person right now, we wanted to give our fans a fun way to still hang out virtually with the perfect pour for their new night in. And we can’t wait to do more exciting things with the Sink The Pink collective in 2020.”

Ginger Johnson comes fresh from hosting duties on her smash-hit online show Wakey Wakey with Love Island’s Chris Taylor.
