Edinburgh Gin has opened a Christmas pop-up shop in its home city - offering a one-stop destination for its gin fans in the capital.
The store, located on New Town’s Frederick Street, will be open to the public Tuesday – Sunday up until Christmas.
The new pop-up shop will stock some of the distiller’s most popular bottles and gifts, including the recently launched Poached Pear liqueur and the brand-new range of Storybook gift packs. Every purchase will be gift wrapped by the in-store team.
Adding to the festive cheer, Edinburgh Gin has also launched a special personalisation service on-site, where shoppers purchasing a 70cl bottle of their Classic London Dry will be able to swap out the iconic “EG” letters on the bottle label for their initials, or those of a loved one.
The pop-up has been designed and fitted out to be Covid-19 compliant, with sanitisation stations and a layout that allows for social distancing throughout.
The Frederick Street location will operate alongside the existing distillery shop, with customers able to take advantage of the complete Edinburgh Gin Christmas shopping experience at either site.
Neil Boyd, UK managing director at Ian Macleod Distillers, owner's of Edinburgh Gin, said: “There’s something truly spectacular about Christmas shopping in Edinburgh, but we know this year it’s going to look very different.
"Which is why we decided to bring back the wonder of selecting that perfect gift for a loved one with this magical pop-up in New Town.
“Customers are able to browse our award-winning range, and even personalise a bottle of our Edinburgh Gin Classic. Our store is much more than just your regular shop - we're adding the sparkle back into gift-buying.”
The Edinburgh Gin pop-up shop is located at 48A Frederick Street, Edinburgh, EH2 1EX.
The shop will be open during November and December: Tuesday to Friday – 11am till 6pm, Saturday and Sunday – 10am till 6pm.
