Scran season 7: Dipping into the latest drink trends

In the latest episode of Scran, we take a look at trends in drinks, in particular coffee and cocktails.

You can nearly smell the gorgeous roast coffee from this episode, in which I visit Dear Green Coffee Roasters to hear what's hot in the coffee world.

Recent high street chains have been experimenting with olive oil in coffee. I out if these fads stand up, and what founder and owner of Dear Green, Lisa Lawson, thinks of them.

Michele Mariotti, head of bar at Gleneagles, also joins me on this episode to talk about all things cocktails.

He has spent much of his career fine tuning his cocktail skills and talks about how cheese and sushi rice are getting a look in in recent trends.

He also talks about changes at Gleneagles and the launch of a brand new cocktail menu this autumn.
