This festive season, global tennis icon Andy Murray and Walker’s Shortbread are spreading festive cheer by launching a charity auction for Murray’s one-of-a-kind ‘Shortbread Christmas Jumper’.
The festive jumper will go under the hammer to raise money for Cash for Kids, a charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged children and young people across the UK the chance to thrive.
The jumper, worn by the tennis champion in the newly launched Walker’s Shortbread Christmas advert, is a traditional Christmas jumper with a playful shortbread twist – adorned instead with shortbread fingers and triangles.

In the advert, Andy takes centre stage armed with his dry wit and one-of-a-kind woolly jumper, paying homage to the timeless treat and Walker’s place as a Christmas tradition.
Fans can get involved with the festive magic by bidding on the exact Fair Isle jumper featured in the advert.
The unique jumper will be auctioned alongside a signed pack of Walker’s Shortbread Festive Shapes. The items will go under the hammer on Cash for Kids website from 17 November, 2025.
For those who miss out on the auction, Walker’s will be releasing a limited-edition run of replica jumpers, proudly made in the UK.
Priced at £45 (RRP), the jumpers are available exclusively on the Walker’s Shortbread website now.
All profits from jumper sales will be donated to Cash for Kids to support the charity’s Mission Christmas initiative - the UK’s largest Christmas gift appeal - making sure children and young people have something special to open on Christmas day.
Tennis legend and Walker’s Shortbread brand ambassador, Andy Murray, said: "I do love a Christmas jumper, so I really enjoyed teaming up with Walker’s Shortbread on such a meaningful campaign.
"Cash for Kids do a great job and hopefully we can raise lots of funds for them by auctioning my Shortbread Christmas Jumper to make Christmas a bit brighter for children in need. I’m proud to be a part of this initiative and hope others will join me in supporting such an important cause.”
Earlier this year, Andy became the first-ever brand ambassador for Walker’s Shortbread. The partnership celebrates ‘Scotland at its Finest’, highlighting the shared sense of national heritage, pride, and understated charm of two of Scotland’s most famous exports.
Both the tennis star and shortbread maker began their journeys in small Scottish towns and, through years of dedication and hard work honing their craft, have gone on to achieve international recognition.
Nicky Walker, managing director at Walker’s Shortbread, said: “Walker’s Shortbread has always been about joy and bringing people together – from everyday moments to special occasions such as Christmas.
“Our new Christmas campaign with Andy Murray supporting Cash for Kids embodies this - it celebrates the spirit of giving and bringing moments of happiness to those around us. We hope that our contribution will make a positive difference to children across the UK.”
Emma Brown, Cash for Kids partnerships and brand director, added: "We’re absolutely delighted to have Walker’s Shortbread supporting Mission Christmas this year.
“Christmas should be magical, but for far too many families it’s a time of real worry. Right now, almost 1 in 3 children across the UK - around 4.5 million - are living in poverty. Without support, many of them will wake up to nothing on Christmas Day.
“Every pound raised through this partnership will help us reach more of those children at a time when they need us most, so a huge thank you to everyone who bids in the auction or buys a replica jumper. Your kindness will help Santa reach more children this Christmas.”
Bidding for Andy’s Shortbread Christmas jumper is open now and closes on Friday 12 December, 2025. To take part visit the website.
