Glasgow may have hit the headlines recently for the woeful Willy Wonka experience, but it’s home to one of the country’s best chocolate businesses.
Bare Bones is a bean to bar business, located in Glasgow’s east end. Set up by Lara Messer and Cameron Dixon in 2018, the company recently featured in Rick Stein’s Food Stories on BBC2, where the celebrity chef tried some of Bare Bones’ wares calling it the 'best chocolate he's ever tasted'.
Now Bare Bones are hiring for new team members amid a move to bigger premises, which will stock more of their chocolates, have more seating as well as stocking lifestyle and homeware gifts.
Of the move, the team said: "Moving the current shop out of the factory will give us more space to make the best chocolate and grow.
"We can’t wait to open. We are working hard to get the building and decorating finished asap! Opening date to follow."
The jobs were announced via the Bare Bones social media, the post reads: “We’re hiring. We are looking for two team members to join our amazing team. Roles split between the factory and our new chocolate shop.”
There are two roles -shop and workshop assistant and a Sunday shop assistant, both of which are based in the new shop space on Kings Court in Glasgow.
Customer service skills, a keenness to learn and attention to detail are all mentioned as skills needed in the job advert.
