The popular breakfast cereal Weetabix posted a picture on Twitter suggesting Heinz beans and a Weetabix biscuit as a breakfast option, and the replies were varied and hilarious.
Posting on Twitter, the Weetabix team said: "Why should bread have all the fun, when there's Weetabix? Serving up
@HeinzUK Beanz on bix for breakfast with a twist. #ItHasToBeHeinz #HaveYouHadYourWeetabix"
Replies to this were varied, including disgust at the idea as well as funny remarks from followers.

Other brands then started replying, with Scottish brewers BrewDog posting: "How long before BrewDog release a bean flavoured wheat beer" Heinz replied: "we dare you"

Innocent Drinks, known for their quirky social media added: "Even we wouldn't do this, we're not monsters."
Consumer watchdog site Which? added: "This is not Which? recommended" to which Weetabix replied, "it's definitely Weetabix recommended though!"

In a nod to the recent viral video of the Handforth Parish Council meeting, Sainsbury's replied saying: "Beans have no authority here, no authority AT ALL"
Heinz replied: "*removes Sainsbury's from chat*"
KFC and Nando's joined forces over the tweet, with Nando's replying: "You okay hun? DM's are open if you need to talk"
Replying to this KFC said: "Let's set aside our differences to prosecute this under the Geneva convention"
Edinburgh Zoo wrote: "We'd be lion if we said this looked like a koality breakfast..."
Other brands to join the discussion include National Rail, Lidl, Krispy Kreme and Specsavers.
The exchange between the brands was enjoyed by most, with one Twitter user declaring that Weetabix had 'won Twitter' whilst another wrote: "*Screams into void*"
