Calculated to the most depressing of the year, 'Blue Monday' takes into account the cold weather, the amount of time since the Christmas holidays and failing New Year’s resolutions.

The team at Tuk Tuk say their bold and vibrant venue in Tollcross will brighten up everyone's day with the colour, sounds and smells of modern day India, with the first 100 visitors to the restaurant at 1 Leven Street receiving a free chicken lollipop.

Rizvi Khaleque, founder of Tuk Tuk Restaurants, said: "It's easy to feel down in January, what with going back to work, the cold weather and even thundersnow.

"So we wanted to do a little something to cheer everyone up. Brighten our customers day and warm their bellies with our signature chicken lollipops."
