Firefighters were called to Sizzling Palate restaurant in Bolton, Grtr Mancs., at around 10.30pm on Saturday evening (April 28).
The incident was also attended by Greater Manchester Police who stayed at the scene for around an hour before leaving.
Five women suffered minor injuries, and another female suffered a neck injury, as they were all taken to Salford Royal Infirmary.
Speaking about the incident, restaurant manager Amir said: "A small fraction of the suspended ceiling collapsed but everything is OK.
"It's not a major disaster, a few people got minor injuries and minor concussion. Police have given us the ok and business is as usual"
