The fifth video of the series offers a recipe for the journeyman of any full Scottish breakfast, the wonderfully versatile tattie (potato) scone.

In a bid to help Mackie McCoy who 'abibes in Portsoy' with his surplus of tatties, Dodie shows how to create this delicious breakfast item using a few potatoes, some flour and some butter, with a wee bit of salt thrown in for good measure.

The video also contains several of the Buckie resident's usual anecdotes and hilarious patter, so not only is it educational it's a joy to watch too.

The duo behind the series have created five videos so far with recipes for stovies, brose, shortbread and oatcakes, and say they plan to make 13 in total, with Halloween, Christmas and Hogmanay specials on top of that.

Released every Monday, upcoming episodes will include recipes for Cullen Skink and Rumbledethumps.
