Scots cafe offering Harry Potter afternoon tea for home delivery

The Sweet Tart Vintage tearoom has a magical afternoon tea available for delivery or collection.

Harry Potter fans can treat themselves to a themed afternoon tea from Glasgow bakery, The Sweet Tart.

The tea, which includes sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones with clotted cream and jam and and tea, is sure to delight fans of the boy wizard, who can also test their knowledge with a themed quiz.

The full Harry Potter afternoon tea menu includes: a selection of finger sandwiches with fillings like ‘dragon’ egg mayo, cheese and pickle, Professor McGonagle 's ham and chicken, The boy who lived eclair, Platform 9 3/4 empire biscuit, a Harry Potter cupcake, a Philosophers Scone with clotted cream and jam, a pumpkin pastry, a Bertie Botts inspired tea bag and a small bag of Dumbledore's Lemon Sherbets.

Customers can collection from the bakery on Pollockshaws Road in Glasgow's south side or arrange for local delivery.

The afternoon tea is available just now on deal website itison for £29.

Sweet Tart is a family-run cafe that also offers catering for events and vintage crockery hire.

Last month Edinburgh's Waldorf Astoria also launched a wizarding themed afternoon tea available for delivery to capital locals.
