The Sainsbury's sausage sqwirl is approximately 1.8 metres long, serving six people. Curled around in a square spiral, it can be placed on a BBQ to sizzle away and cook evenly.
The pork sausage has been infused with tomato, smoky paprika and chilli seasoning to give an authentic Memphis style taste.
What’s more, Sainsbury’s has designed the BBQ Sausage Sqwirl for ease and convenience, eliminating the issue of having to constantly turn individual sausages when cooking for multiple people.
The supermarket recommends, for the ultimate, delicious BBQ spread for family and friends, the Sqwirl is best served up hotdog-style in soft, fresh buns, along with a helping of salad and a dollop of coleslaw.
