The results of the study were based on customer reviews of food quality, service and delivery time over past 12 months.

Gy Chinese on Roseneath Place leads the pack with the highest rating, while Taste of China on Gilmore Place took second place, closely followed by Midlothian’s Eating Plus in third.

The online brand also revealed that the busiest time for delivery orders in Edinburgh is Saturday night at 6pm, and the areas in Edinburgh where takeaway was most popular are Dalry and Gorgie.
