The new 10 course tasting menu, which offers dishes that are re-imagined British classics, will launch at 111 by Nico on Friday 6 September and will only be available on Friday and Saturday nights.

Chef Nico Simeone said: "At 111 by Nico it has always been important for us to offer an affordable dining experience without compromising on taste or portion size and the new ten-course tasting menu will take it one step further, elevate our TRUST offering and showcase some extra special food for guests to enjoy every Friday and Saturday."

Dishes on the ten-course menu include: Potato Terrine served with black garlic emulsion and ewes cheese; Golden Egg - duck liver parfait with yellow peach compote and brioche espuma; Mackerel served with cucumber, greengage elderflower, dill and buttermilk; beef tartare with oyster emulsion, crisp tongue, and pickled shallot; and a dessert of white peach served with woodruff cream, almond and peach consommé.

Nico continues: "We want to constantly push boundaries with our food concepts and we believe 111 by Nico is like a fine wine – it gets better with age.

"This new ten course menu is a perfect showcase for our chef's creations and of course, the challenge now is that we have to deliver for our guests".

Paired wines - of which there are six - with the ten course are all from Italy, including some that are rarely available elsewhere.

These are: Lambrusco Quercioli Sorbara DOC Rose Secco Medici; Soave DOC Brigaldara; Falanghina Beneventano IGT - Bellamico Rocca e Figli; Rosso di Montecarlo DOC Fattoria del Teso Fattoria del Teso; NostalgiaMaturano Natural, Lazio IGT I Ciacca and the sweet Moscato Passito Piemonte DOC La Bella Estate Vite Colte.

The ten-course menu offering will sit alongside the restaurants innovative TRUST tasting menu - an immersive experience where guests choose from a list of 12 ingredients.

Each and every visit will see a different meal served with the options set to be hugely varied and limited only by the seasonal produce available. TRUST is served at 111 by Nico every Tuesday - Thursday and all day Sunday.

The ten-course tasting menu, which can be booked now, will be priced at £40 per person with a matching wine flight priced at £35. The menu is available every Friday and Saturday only.
