CollaGin, which went viral when it was launched by entrepreneurs Camilla Brown and Liz Beswick from Oxford early last year, was the first release from what the pair describe as “the world’s first spirits range distilled with pure collagen”.

Now the company, dubbed Young In Spirit, is back with a limited edition version, of which only 800 bottles have been made.

CollaGin Rose has the addition of oil steam distilled rose petals, resulting in what Brown and Beswick describe as "an elegant and refined flavour with a floral, sweet finish".

Featuring 11 botanicals including pink grapefruit and orris, as well as pure collagen, this new gin is available from NotOnTheHighStreet and Ocado whilst stocks last.

Co-founder Camilla Brown said: “We are on a mission to beautify the world of spirits and create a gin that could sit on a back bar but also a beauty counter. The Original Collagin has gone down a storm, so when people were begging us for a pink gin we decided to give them what they wanted.

"With the addition of the rose, she still stays subtle and smooth but will appeal to gin lovers with a sweeter tooth. She also looks stunning with her matching pink hue to the bottle.”

The gin is distilled in the Midlands, UK and bottled in Lancashire, and made with America’s number one collagen brand which the pair say does not affect the taste, smell or appearance of the gin, though it isn't suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
