Fans of Game of Thrones can enjoy a variety of events in Scotland over the next few weeks...

With the Game of Thrones final season less than a week away, we take a look at some themed food and drink events to get you in the mood for the last few episodes.

From cocktails or a chance to test your knowledge to a medieval banquet and a chance to spend time in an ice bar, there’s something for all fans.

Head to Glasgow’s only Ice Bar for the ultimate Game of Thrones experience.

The team at Snowfactor say: “Whether you’re a Wildling or an Unsullied, a Dothraki or even a Lannister, you’re all welcome here in our Evening with the Night’s Watch. Our guards will invite you to leave civilisation to join them in their very own Ice Bar where they like to shake off the stresses of defending the Seven Kingdoms with a post patrol beverage.”

Tickets are £21 and include two GoT themed cocktails or tankards of beer, entry to the 45min Ice Bar Session with our Night’s Watch starting at 5pm, 6pm or 7pm, don one of the Night’s Watch Capes and draw a GoT Sword for the ultimate GoT selfie on our Ice Throne and a themed photo to take home

Game of Thrones pub quiz

The Grosvenor Cafe in Glasgow’s west end are hosting a One Last Time, GoT pub quiz on Tuesday 16 April from 9pm.

The bar is calling on fans to grab an army of up to six people and compete for the throne.

If you’re the lucky winning team, you’ll get your hands on a £100 gift card, which, lets face it is a lot less risky than the iron throne.

White Walker cocktails

Mix yourself up a stiff drink at home thanks to Johnnie Walker’s themed whisky, White Walker.

Created in partnership with HBO, the limited edition whisky is inspired by the White Walkers and to celebrate the final season, Johnnie Walker has released some cocktail recipes to try.

Choose from an old fashion or a highball, or why not enjoy a dram neat?

Pop Up Geeks cocktails and wine tasting

Events specialists, the Pop Up Geeks are back with their Game of Thrones themed concept, Blood and Wine.

On 14 April, GoT fans can head to the Hub on the Royal Mile to enjoy a one of a kind wine tasting experience that will allow guests to “journey across the Seven Kingdoms” to taste the closest real world counterparts to the wines described in George.R.R.Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series.

For those looking to have a drink or two after each show (especially if your favourite character has been killed off) there will be a Watchers on the Wall post show party every Tuesday with £5 cocktails.

And, until 26 May, there will be Thrones themed cocktails being served at the Blood and Wine pop up at the Edinburgh Arches, 27 East Market Street.
