Torabhaig Distillery on Skye posts pictures of the excited little goat as it played on the casks on the production site's grounds.
Aptly dubbed Goaty, the newborn billy goat kid was presumed orphaned after one of the island's residents discovered it crying by the side of a road, soon after it began to follow him around.
Posting on Facebook, the distillery team wrote: "After finding what presumably was the goat's mother dead beside the road he decided to take the kid home to his family and give him a better chance of survival."
They then added that as Goaty’s adoptive family does not have access to a croft and due to the fact that he is growing bigger by the day, a more suitable, permanent home needed to be found for him.
They said: "Before Torabhaig was a distillery it was a working farm for hundreds of years. The history of this land is not forgotten and all who work here are passionate about nature and animals.
"As Goaty is now tame he can’t be put back out into the wild. Therefore it felt right for us to adopt him."
Whisky fans will be able to keep up with Goaty's future adventures on Torabhaig's Teangue-based site via their social media.
