Outlander star Sam Heughan reveals his favourite whiskies

The actor, author and entrepreneur joined us on our podcast, Scran.

Outlander star, Sam Heughan, recently, spoke to us about the latest addition to his Sassenach spirits brand, Sassenach Wild Scottish Gin.

He also revealed his favourite restaurants, foods and whiskies - after the hugely successful launch of his award winning Sassenach whisky in 2020.

When asked what whiskies he'll be drinking this spring, he said: "I love Asian blended whiskies and that's where our Sassenach whisky came from. I was inspired by the Hibiki whiskies and Vietnamese Kavalan."

Sam went on to say he loves those whiskies that inspired him, and that he enjoys American whiskey, not bourbon but rye.
