Scotland is easing its way out of lockdown and Glasgow pubs are gearing up for Monday 6 July, when beer gardens are finally permitted to reopen.
Here are some of the city’s top pubs listed with details on when you can book to have a drink at some of the best outdoor drinking spots in Glasgow.
The latest addition to Finnieston, Cranside Kitchen at the Rotunda opens on Monday 6 July with bookings being taken now.
The new bar and eatery is open Monday - Sunday, 10am - 10pm and offers menus from five Glasgow restaurants - Rioja, Halloumi, Pickled Ginger, Kilmurry & Co and La Rotunda as well as a separate drinks and dessert menu.
Food is served daily from 10am - 10pm with the brunch offering from 10am - 4pm daily and all other brands from 12pm onwards.
Saint Luke's will reopen its beer garden on 6 July, from 12-10pm, seven days a week.
Posting on their Facebook page, the team said: "We will be opening outside areas from Monday 6th. Bookings are already filling up fast so give us a call on 0141 552 8378 to guarantee a table.
There are some T&Cs though:
- Table service only
- Maximum of 8 guests
- 2 hour timeslots
- Socially distant 2m tables
- Please also abide by health & safety regulations.. you know the drill 🙂
Hand wash stations will be available, and regular sanitising and cleaning processes will be in place."
West Brewery
Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Templeton Building, West on the Green is a popular spot for beer lovers in the city.
The huge beer garden is reopening on 6 July, with bookings being taken here.
There will be a maximum party size of six people and a £40 deposit is required for bookings, which will be deducted from the final bill.
This popular southside bar reopened in 2018 after a £650,000 refurbishment and will reopen its beer garden following lockdown on 6 July from with advance bookings essential.
Opening times are:
Monday-Thursday 12-8
Friday-Saturday 12-9
Sunday 12-8
New house rules, as posted on the business's Facebook page are as follows:
"We have limited the total amount of bookings we are taking.
Maximum 6 people from a maximum of 2 households per booking.
You will have your table for 1 hour 45 minutes.
Clear social distancing signage is in place. Respect it and follow it.
You will be asked to submit your contact details for Track & Trace and also to have your temperature on arrive.
We have closed off certain toilet cubicles and sinks to allow social distancing.
No smoking or vaping is allowed on site or in queues.
Be respectful to our team and to other diners."
Popular with most Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University students, The Ark is the perfect city centre sun trap and it's reopening on Monday 6 July.
Bookings can be made online and there's a More card App so that customers can order and pay from their seats.

Cottiers
This popular west end pub and events venue is reopening its beer garden from Monday 6 July, with bookings being taken here.
The bar opening times are Monday - Wednesday: 4pm- 10pm and Thursday - Sunday: 12pm - 10pm.
Current restrictions mean, as with other bars, new rules which the Cottiers team have listed on their Facebook page:
↠We will have a greatly reduced capacity with tables distanced at 2 metres.
↠You don't have to order a meal but everyone must be seated
↠Strict hygiene & sanitation procedures will be in place
↠ Tables are available for two hours. We want to give everyone the opportunity to come down and have a couple of hours in the garden.

"While we will be accepting walk ins we are expecting demand to be pretty high for the first few weeks so we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Independently owned Glasgow Beer Works (GBW), formerly Merchant City Brewing, has revealed plans for a new beer garden in the Merchant City, which is set to open on Thursday 9 July pending council approvals and following the latest government advice.
Situated under the famous John Byrne Billy Connolly mural on Osbourne Street in the city centre, the new beer garden will be an outdoor space for up to 80 guests.
The team at GBW have been working with a selection of Glasgow’s favourite street food vendors – Salt N Chilli, Muerte Por Churros and Fire Dog Gourmet Hotdogs – to design the perfect menu of delicious street food to accompany their award-winning brews.
There will also be a range of wines and cocktails, most of which have been sourced from smaller, local suppliers.
The beer garden will be open from Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9th July to 30th of August - serving from 12pm to 9pm.

This Merchant City bar is opening its beer garden from 6 July from 12-10pm, seven days a week.
Bookings are essential and being taken now.
Posting on their Facebook page, the team said: "To book at table for a 2 hour slot give us a buzz on 0141 552 5108 or slide in those DMs.
"All current bookings, please remember to keep your distance from other punters, stay on your table and all arrive at the same time, on time!
"Everyone must wear a mask when entering the building to use the toilets!
"We will have our friendly staff on hand to serve you straight from your table and hand sanitising stations.
"Let’s all be nice and have ‘dam good time!"
A popular spot on a sunny day in the west end, Brel reopens on Monday 6 July from 12 - 11pm and is fully booked until 13 July. Indoor bookings are being taken for opening on 15 July.
The team have been working behind the scenes to make their outdoor space ready for all weathers - with an outdoor heated restaurant, new covered seating, and firepits.

Another Ashton Lane hangout, Vodka Wodka has plans to reopen from 10 July from 2-11pm, with bookings being taken now.
The team said: " Pre-booking your table via Vodwodkabookings@gmail.com is essential as we have limited capacity.
"We will not be taking bookings over the phone or on social media, so please stick to the email.
New house rule here are:
- Normal licensed premises rules apply
- Age 18+ only.
- Table packages must be paid in advance to guarantee your booking.
- Table service only via the LOCAL App, no cash.
- We have tables for groups of 4, 6 and 8 people, max stay 2 hours.
- Groups must remain seated at their own table unless going to the toilet.
- Covid 19 government guidelines will be implemented.
This pub made the news as they've spent lockdown giving free meals to NHS workers and the elderly, as well as offering food delivery to charities including homeless shelters.
Now the GWR beer garden will reopen from Monday 6 July from 2pm with no bookings necessary for now.
Posting on their Facebook page, the team said: "From Monday the 6th of July at 2pm we will be opening our ground floor beer garden.
"This is uncharted territory for us so for the moment we are unable to detail how it will operate. We will be providing for socially distancing. Our aim is to make our service ‼SAFE. SIMPLE. SPEEDY. ‼
"We will be limiting what is on offer in order to achieve the above. Where possible regular customers will be a priority.
"We are not accepting bookings at this time until we see how our systems will work best.
"We will be operating a voucher system to reduce the not only the amount of cash handling but to allow queues to move quickly.
"Please bring ID as we will be recording the presence of every client.
"All the above is subject to change as the management think appropriate."
