The top placing business on this year’s Yelp Top 100 Places To Eat in the UK for Glasgow (coming in at #30) has now opened in the West End.

There’s a larger menu with more options like vegetarian and vegan options as well as old favourites like the Cali Burger and Glaspoutine.

Bucks Bar

If you like chicken, liquor and rock n roll, then this place is for you.

There’s loads of chicken on the menu; from chicken and waffles to chicken wings, fried chicken and hot-style chicken – but there’s also veggie options if chicken isn’t your thing.

It’s part of the same group as Slouch and Howlin’ Wolf so you know it’s going to be good.

The Drugstore Social

This new addition to Old Dumbarton Road is a fresh addition to the Kained Holdings group – the folks behind Lebowski’s, Porter & Rye and The Finnieston.

The menu has a medicinal twist so you can self-prescribe just the right tonic to pep up your day, whether it’s a boozy offering or something from their locally sourced and foraged food menu.

Opening its second location in Edinburgh in The Arches on East Market Street, this much-loved steak spot is the place to go for cocktails and steaks.

If you really want to treat yourself – and someone special – then splash out on the Surf N Turf Sharer for a 500g Chateaubriand and grilled half lobster with dripping chips and bearnaise sauce for £75.

Wahaca finally arrives in Scotland! This restaurant chain is co-founded by Thomasina Miers, winner of Masterchef in 2005 and you’ll find delicious, modern Mexican dishes on the menu.

From street food dishes like Mexico City-style salmon sashimi tostadas to large dishes like Pastor marinated grilled chicken breast, you’ll be able to try something a bit different from the usual here.
