Glenwyvis release award-winning Christmas gin

The limited edition, oak-aged gin is available to buy now and will make an ideal stocking filler for any gin fan.

The Glenwyvis Christmas gin, which was awarded gold at the International Wine & Spirit Competition - IWSC, is made in Dingwall with nine botanicals (including locally foraged hawthorn) and is described as being: "characterised by seasonal flavours of cinnamon and rich dried fruits."

The limited edition Christmas spiced gin has been matured in oak casks hand-picked by Glenwyvis's Master Distiller to add some welcome winter warmth.

The 50cl festival bottle is available to buy now, priced at £36.99.

Glenwyvis is Scotland's only community owned distillery and was opened in 2018. It's also a very eco-friendly distillery with its own hydro-electric, wind and solar power.

Like a lot of other Scottish distilleries, Glenwyvis have opted to make gin while waiting on their whisky to mature, and Goodwill Gin - which is made from their small copper still named Heather - is their offering.

Goodwill Gin took home a bronze award from the International Wine & Spirit Competition - IWSC this summer.
