One of Glasgow’s top Italian restaurants, Eusebi Deli has become the exclusive UK stockist of the glamorous, designer rosé Rosa wine by Sicilian winemaker Donnafugata and Italian fashion house, Dolce and Gabbana.

Located in Glasgow’s West End, Eusebi Deli offers diners an authentic Italian experience with modern dishes, quality regional products and a passionate front-of-house team.

Rosa by Donnafugata and Dolce and Gabbana is a new rosé wine that has been praised for its elegant fragrance and minerality.

Inspired by Sicily, a place very close to the designers’ hearts, the pink wine was created from a 2019 vintage and mixed two of the island’s quintessential vines; Nerello Mascalese and Nocera.

Much like the runway collections of the luxury fashion house, Italy’s rich history of artisan craftsmanship is deeply rooted in Rosa, from the processes of Italian manufacturing to the bright and bold patterned packaging that takes its cues from the traditional carretto siciliano.

Speaking about the wine Giovanna Eusebi, owner at Eusebi Deli, said: “We are very proud to be the only UK stockist of Rosa, a very special collaboration between Donnafugata and Dolce and Gabbana.

"These two brands capture the true artisanal history of Italian craftsmanship and culture. Self-confessed connoisseurs will pick up on the delicate notes of jasmine and bergamot paired with sweet wild strawberry and peach providing a bouquet of flavours too good to put down.

"The unique rosé wine transports me to my happy place on the Italian coast, providing some much need escapism from the current pandemic.

“Rosa is perfect as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with light fish dishes. We recommend enjoying the wine with our hand-dived Scottish scallops with orange butter and almond dish because of its perfectly sweet flavours that nod to this Sicilian partnership.

"Our halibut with salsa verde, violet artichoke and capers or our signature linguine with Scottish shellfish also work beautifully as well”.
