Treat yourself to a day out at Edinburgh's latest food and drink festival, which is launching next month

If two days of Scottish food, drink, entertainment and produce sounds like your ideal way to spend a chilly February weekend then check out Edinburgh's latest foodie festival, Fan Fest.

Held in the Signet Library on the 10th and 11th February, Scottish Fan Fest will be a celebration of Scottish culture with the chance to try, buy and speak to some of the best producers in the Scottish food and drink industry.

The Scottish Malt Whisky Society will be on hand to help you discover the best whiskies Scotland has to offer, while producers such as Thistly Cross Cider, The Smokehouse, St Andrews Brewing Co, Jarvis pickle pies and Scoff Foods will showcase their exciting products.

Scottish Fan Fest describes what visitors can expect on their website: "Scotland is definitely a food nation with really tasty dishes thanks to a wide range of raw products and passionate people! Join us for a Scottish culinary experience.

As well as great food and drink, there will also be a variety of craft designers selling their wares.

There will also be live entertainment, alongside screenings of the Six Nations rugby matches.
