Edinburgh Gin is set to introduce two new full-strength flavoured gins to their range - Gooseberry & Elderflower Gin and Raspberry Gin.

Gooseberry & Elderflower Gin, which has an ABV of 40 per cent, is a tangy and refreshing mix of tart gooseberries and sweet, fragrant elderflower.

Meanwhile, Raspberry Gin, which also has an ABV of 40 per cent, is a full strength iteration of Edinburgh Gin’s successful Raspberry Gin Liqueur, and is distilled with five traditional gin botanicals along with a combination of fresh raspberries and raspberry leaves.

Late last year the brand released their Bramble and Honey full strength gin, which bucked the trend for lower ABV liqueurs and joined other flavours such as Rhubarb & Ginger Gin and the fragrant Lemon & Jasmine Gin launched in the summer of 2019.

Neil Mowat, UK marketing director of Ian Macleod Distillers, said: “2019 was a big year for Edinburgh Gin as we established ourselves within the premium full-strength flavoured gin category.

"We’re looking to continue this progress in 2020 with the launch of our sophisticated full-strength Gooseberry & Elderflower and Raspberry products that are perfect for the warmer months.

“The new products reflect our commitment to explore the best ingredients and most wonderful flavour combinations, particularly as the flavoured gin category continues to grow.

"Whether it’s in new product development or our “Filled With Wonder” brand campaign, Edinburgh Gin is committed to investing in its future.”

The team say: "With a natural light green hue, Gooseberry & Elderflower Gin is the perfect mix for tonic, or a sharp base spirit for a gin cocktail.

"The red liquid of Raspberry Gin reflects a naturally flavoured product bursting with deep raspberry aromas and tastes - from nose to palate."
