Edinburgh-based drinks company launch world's first 'Yard of Gin'

An Edinburgh-based drinks company has launched what could be this festive season's hottest gift for gin fans - the world’s first 'Yard of Gin'.

Delivered in a gold-foiled gift box, the team at Tipple Box say the Yard of Gin features 12 gins and liqueurs hand-selected from distilleries across the UK, including Scottish gins Edinburgh Gin, Rock Rose and Boe.

Described as a "carefully curated collection" of flavoured, dry and pink gins as well as several fruit liqueurs, the Yard of Gin is designed to allow any gin lover to fully explore and enjoy the wonderful world of gin.

Tipple Box founder Sonny Charles said: "The limited edition gift is an ultimate gin tasting experience and includes an accompanying copy of The Gin Guide, an essential guide to everything gin which details the history of gin, an insight into the featured distilleries, alongside exclusive gin cocktail recipes, notes on how to taste the gins and a tasting chart to complete your gin experience."

Alongside the Yard of Gin, the Tipple Box Christmas 2019 range will include a Christmas Cocktail Box, featuring everything required to make and enjoy two delicious festive themed drinks at home, and a new Tipple Box Christmas hamper, alongside specially curated gin and tonic and cocktail gift sets.
