Offering five different gluten free beers on tap - ranging from IPAs to stouts - Grunting Growler, which is located on Glasgow's Old Dumbarton Road, are holding the take over in a bid to showcase the fact that this underappreciated style can be "just as good" as regular versions.

The event will run from 10am to 10pm on 20 October and people can enjoy beers in the store or they can take their brews home in one of the shop's eponymous growlers.

Grunting Growler owner Jehad Hatu said: “We think it’s (gluten free beer) an under appreciated part of the industry, and we want to showcase that, when done right, gluten free beers and normal beers should taste the same.

“This is an event that’s perfect for both gluten free beer drinks, and folks that like just great tasting beers.

“We’re covering a range of different style from stouts, lagers, IPA and sours!”
