As part of this year's Edinburgh Cocktail Week, which runs from 14-20 October 2019, the city’s first ever cocktail domes will be located on the two-acre rooftop of The Glasshouse Hotel.

What are the cocktail domes?

The fully transparent domes will offer exclusive access to take-in the panoramic views of Edinburgh’s iconic skyline, while sipping on a signature cocktail, available during the week-long event.

What to expect in the dome

Each dome will comfortably seat eight festival-goers and be styled with sofas, blankets, rugs and fairy lights to create a cosy setting whatever the weather.

Table service will be on offer for all dome bookings, so sampling a £4 cocktail couldn’t be easier.

Six domes will be available for two-hour bookings at £25 per dome and an additional two domes will always be available for walk-in wristband holders during the Edinburgh Cocktail Week.

The Glasshouse Hotels’ bespoke Edinburgh Cocktail Week recipe is created by the artistic bar team to reflect the unique and creative everyday menu at the hotel.

Entry to The Glasshouse’s Rooftop Garden is free with an ECW wristband, and visitors are also welcome to experience the garden itself- one of Edinburgh’s hidden gems - where a pop-up Johnnie Walker bar will also be available all summer long, serving a range of whisky cocktails.
