Popular gin bar, Gin7, has teamed up with itison to offer diners a great deal on a five-course Valentine's dinner for two, a glass of Prosecco plus a gift box of chocolates and an Eden Mill gin cocktail mix all for £59.

The meal is for the Merchant City outlet in Glasgow and itison describe the deal on their website: "you and your gin lovin’ lover can enjoy a decadent five-course meal in the heart of the Merchant City.

"After being welcomed with a sparkling glass of Prosecco, you will enjoy dishes showcasing the very best of Scottish cuisine (and gin!), ending with an indulgent dessert and a gift pack to take home with you."

The sample menu includes dishes such as; rabbit loin with parma ham, chicken liver parfait, char of heritage carrot, crisp skin, carrot and Szechuan purée and baby gherkin; treacle gin and fennel cured salmon with apple and shaved fennel salad, olive oil and treacle yoghurt and a dark chocolate mousse with mint tuille, honeycomb dust, raspberry mousse, puff pastry, raspberry coulis and freeze dried raspberries.

Served from Tuesday 13th-Thursday 15th, this Valentine's day special includes appetisers, such as a Charcuterie selection, mains of a 500g Chateaubriand or a 1.2kg Tomahawk steak and a mouthwatering dessert selection.

This New Town restaurant and bar has long been a favourite of Edinburgh residents and visitors thanks to its range of cocktails and selection of good food.
For Valentine's Day, diners can enjoy a three course meal for £25, with dishes such as wild mushroom and truffle ravioli with mushroom broth; pan roast cod with maltaise sauce, Jerusalem artichoke, kale and lemon roasted potatoes and milk chocolate and Cointreau cheesecake with burnt orange sauce.
