Edinburgh's Bross Bagels officially launch new ‘Bross Deli’ delivery service

Edinburgh favourite Bross Bagels has officially launched its brand new ‘Bross Deli’ delivery service in a bid to deliver its freshly baked authentic Montreal style bagels directly to people's doors.

The team say orders will come with all of their popular fillings and sides ensuring fans can create their very own perfect bagels for breakfast, lunch or dinner for all the family in the comfort of their own home.

Adding that due to huge demand, this service will now be a permanent fixture moving forward for all their bagel lovers.

Speaking about the new service, a spokesperson for Bross said: "Order everything from Leith’s famous jalapeño schmear to Mama Bross’ own chicken salad. Get your pastrami & turkey sliced in the Bross deli and they’ll deliver it for free. For vegan lovers, they even have pots of vegan cream cheese and slices of Sgaia’s Pastramheat so you can fill your bagel in style at home.

"Buy a baker's dozen of your favourite bagel and whatever you don’t eat just slice, freeze, toast and fill with all your choice of delicious Bross fillings. Order directly from their website, click on deliveries and be the Bross."

The delivery area will cover most of Edinburgh Monday-Friday (and even East Lothian on Mondays) with next day (for orders placed before 5pm) and free delivery with a minimum order of only £20.

The team are currently baking off-site throughout the night at their friends ‘Nice Times Bakery’ on Morrison Street until their in-house Bross bakery is built in their brand new Portobello High Street shop within the old RBS building which is due to be completed later this year.

Owner Larah and her team said their new enhanced recipe means they bake their very own bagels from scratch which is more authentic, and more in the Montreal style for which they are now known.

Explaining the decision behind the new service, Larah said: “We have had a lot of demand from our bagel fans throughout the city for some time to do home delivery.

"We thought that now was a better time than any to launch our brand new deli delivery service whilst our shops are currently closed and everybody is at home. We have been unbelievable overwhelmed by the support and love from everyone in Edinburgh and we can’t wait to see all your creative fillings and posts. Stay home and stay safe with Bross deli delivered to your doorstep.”
