The Ivy Glasgow offering free champagne to those celebrating Galentine's Day

The Ivy Buchanan Street has teamed up with Veuve Clicquot to offer guests an alternative dining experience this Galentine's day.

Thursday 13th February has become the day to celebrate female friendships and the restaurant and bar, which opened last year, is offering tables of four or more - who reserve from 6pm onwards - a free bottle of Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé champagne.

The team said: "Whether you’re gleefully single, happily coupled, or somewhere in between, gather up your girlfriends and come and celebrate at The Ivy Buchanan Street! Simply book a table for four or more, quoting ‘Galentines’ and enjoy a dining experience with a difference."

As well as free champagne, the Ivy will also be serving a limited-edition Valentine’s Day menu from Monday 10th February until Sunday 16th.

Fans of sweet treats can look forward to a dessert of 'Roses are red berries are too' cheesecake, created for sharing.

There will also be a range of new cocktails on offer, such as the Rose Fizz, which uses Lanique and Ivy Collection Champagne and Rose Petal Martini, featuring Lanique, Plymouth Gin, Lychee Juice and dashes of Peychauds Bitters.
