The boutique night will feature gins that have been distilled the ‘new-fashion way’ through to being lovingly handmade in small batches.
Gin connoisseur and owner of The Dunstane Hotel, Shirley Mowat, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting our first Gin night here at The Dunstane as we really wanted to showcase a diverse range of Gins to accompany the traditional names we offer at The Stane Bar.
Our Head Chef, Paul Hood, will be serving some wonderful homemade Orcadian dishes for guests to enjoy on the night alongside and evening of Gin and informative talks!”

Garnishing the evening will be a number of Gin related talks including the ‘The History of Gin’ from 2500BC to the present day delivered by Chris Molyneaux, distiller and founder of Daffy’s gin.
Kim Cameron-Gall, owner and distiller of The Gin Bothy, will be speaking about The Gin Bothy Journey and what it’s like being a small distiller.
