Glasgow's Tantrum Doughnuts creates Stranger Things inspired treat

Celebrate Stranger Things season three and the 4 July with a newly created doughnut from one of Glasgow's favourite eateries.

The much anticipated season three of Stranger Things starts tomorrow and, in celebration, Glasgow's Tantrum Doughnuts have created an upside down inspired treat.

The traditional pineapple upside down cake has been given a Tantrum makeover, and it's available from 4-5 July in the Gordon Street and Old Dumbarton Road shops.

Posting on their social media tonight, despite a Facebook glitch, the team said: "You might not be able to see this photo just now, due to the photo issues Facebook is currently having, BUT we had to let you know that we are doing a special flavour over the next couple of days!

"Join us in the ∩ԀSIᗡƎ ᗡOMᴎ with our Stranger Rings - Pineapple Upside Down Cake special!
Available from both our shops Thursday 4th and Friday 5th July."

Tantrum Doughnuts have gone from strength to strength since opening in 2017, with their second shop opening a year later in the city centre.

Selling handmade brioche and old fashioned doughnuts in imaginative, seasonal flavours such as Raspberry Jam, Almond Old Fashioned, Candied bacon and French toast glaze, Tiramisu and Pistachio and Hibiscus, Tantrum is an ideal place to go if you have a sweet tooth.
