The popular store at Hermiston Gait retail park will celebrate its refurbishment on Saturday 30th March with a "Krispy Kreme Carnival".
A spokesperson for the chain said: "With a jam-packed line-up of activities and competitions planned, it’s one that you dough-not want to miss out on. The festivities will start with a ribbon-cut at 9am and continue on until 8pm – that’s 10 hours of Krispy Kreme fun."
For those looking to participate in the carnival, the fun starts when the new look store re-opens its doors at 9am bringing Hotlight Happy Hour to customers, with free freshly baked doughnuts given out until 12pm.
Other highlights include a face painting station, a caricaturist and even a special Krispy Kreme DJ, playing from 4pm.
Hotlight Happy Hour will then return at 5pm with more fresh doughnuts given out until 8pm.
This happy hour will then be an ongoing event held Monday to Friday at the store between 7pm and 8pm.
According to the brand, the first three people in line on opening morning will also win a selection of prizes with others being given the chance to get more prizes throughout the day using "Krispy Kreme’s spin-to-win".
Craig Evans, UK new store openings manager at Krispy Kreme, said: “As the only Krispy Kreme store in Edinburgh and the hub for so many of our stores in Scotland, we’re really excited to be unveiling the store’s brand-new look and look forward to celebrating with all of our dedicated fans at our special opening day carnival."
