The event will recreate the glorious summers of the 1920s when afternoons at Gleneagles were spent in a heady haze of champagne, socialising and sport.
Taking place on Sunday 24th June, just a week before Wimbledon, the centrepiece of the day will be a legends tennis match featuring former Wimbledon players Xavier Malisse and Henri Leconte.
They will face each other with wooden rackets in the natural arena of the Gleneagles outdoor courts, where tennis has been played for the best part of a century.
The Garden Party will begin with a Veuve Clicquot Champagne reception for guests on the hotel terrace with live jazz music by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and canapes showcasing the finest Scottish ingredients.
The famous Gleneagles Afternoon Tea will be served before the match unfolds, showcasing products from the Gleneagles & Co artisan food range along with cucumber sandwiches, sumptuous cakes from the award-winning Gleneagles pastry chefs, and traditional Perthshire strawberries and cream.
To match the mood, croquet will also be played on the front lawn, with lessons and help for beginners.
