Glasgow foodies rejoice, El Perro Negro has finally announced an opening day and a very exciting giveaway

Anyone who visited one of El Perro Negro's pop ups and kitchen takeover's across Glasgow has been eagerly anticipating the opening of their permanent address in Finnieston.

Well the wait is almost over as the doors will open at 12pm this Saturday (7th April).

Announced on the restaurant's social media, the team said: "It's been emotional, but we are finally open this Saturday.

"Glasgow made this what it is, so as a thank you we are doing 100 classics with cheese for free. That's right.. nout, nada, nothing!

See you at 12.00 on Saturday."

El Perro Negro ltd is the brainchild of Nick Watkins, who created and shared pictures of his burgers to the James vs Burger community back in 2014.

The menu consists of the now famous Top Dog burger, classic burgers and cheeseburgers and a selection of tofu burgers.

There's also a range of lunchtime specials, which won't break the bank.
